ALE's Onshore Wind Tower Heightening Project

ALE has achieved a world first by providing a bespoke engineering solution to heighten the prototype of one of the world's highest wind towers, the Nabralift self-erecting tower, with limited use of cranes for significant time and cost savings in Navarra, Spain. The project involved transporting and heightening the self-erecting wind tower, weighing 450t, to enable Nabrawind Technologies to develop future onshore wind farms without the need for solely crane operations and associated costs. The tower, measuring 160m high, is the third tallest in the world.
