Alexandra Hospital Expansion

planned

The Nevis Island Administration (NIA) is in discussions with a foreign company from India specializing in hospital construction and development to expand the Alexandra Hospital in Nevis. The project is currently on pause due to a financing gap, but the government remains committed to completing the expansion. The proposed approach involves a turnkey solution where the company would provide financing, construction, and necessary equipment. The project is expected to be structured as a joint venture between the government and another funding entity, with the hospital remaining government-owned and controlled.
