Description

Description

The main objective of the Project is to implement a network of publicly accessible recharging stations for light-duty and heavy-duty electric vehicles to allow electric charging along the TEN-T road networks in Estonia. This objective will be achieved with the deployment of 28 charging stations (sites): 16 charging stations will be equipped with 1 recharging point of a minimum power output of 150 kW, to recharge light-duty vehicles (LDVs); and 12 charging stations will be equipped with 1 recharging point of a minimum power output of 400 kW, to recharge Heavy-Duty Vehicles (HDVs) (representing a total of 28 recharging points to be deployed). The project includes the installation of 21 grid connections of minimum 600 kVA. All the charging stations will be fully operational and 24/7 available for customers. The project will rely on 100% renewable electricity to power the chargers: either though the installation of solar panels by a subsidiary company or, where locations do not allow installing sufficient solar panels, with renewable electricity contracts.
