Algernon Health Brain-Focused PET Scanning Clinic

planned

Algernon Health is opening its first US brain-dedicated positron emission tomography (PET) scanning clinic at the HCA Florida University Medical Office Building in Davie, Florida. The clinic will focus on brain PET imaging to support detection and management of neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, epilepsy, neuro-oncology, and movement disorders. The facility will use the FDA-cleared CareMiBrain system, which reduces radiation exposure compared to conventional PET/CT systems. The Davie location will serve as the flagship clinic with plans for multiple sites across the US.
