Description | Allume Energy will further develop the ‘SolShare’ to enable The Salvation Army (TSA) to on-sell excess solar energy to other, separately metered tenancies in their building. Allume Energy has developed the SolShare, a behind-the-meter solar sharing solution that can distribute solar energy generated from a single system to multiple, separately metered units. A power purchase agreement (PPA) will pay for the system and then charge the tenants (TSA) for their solar energy usage. Any excess energy supplied would be sent to the electricity grid. Allume Energy will develop the SolShare algorithms to prioritise solar energy delivery to TSA’s unit in the building. Additional solar energy will be distributed to the other tenants in the building generating a return for TSA. Improv Billing will calculate the bill. |
