Construction of a waste-to-energy plant on a 4.9-acre site. Scope includes demolition and removal of structures; construction of a steam power generation plant, battery energy storage system and equipment foundations; installation of a fluidized-bed gasification and syngas conversion system; and purchase and installation of photovoltaic solar panels, blowers, thermal oxidizer, cooling tower, boiler and sorting, shredding, crushing, screening, separating, drying, ash-handling and wastewater-treatment equipment. The SMRFF will have capacity to process 399 metric tons of construction, plant, unprocessed poultry manure and biodiesel processing waste to produce 3,000 lbs per day of potash fertilizer and biochar, and generate 2 MW of electric power.
