"The ALPS Project aims at establishing an Enterprise Europe Network ""Consortium"" for North-West of Italy, covering three regions (Piemonte, Liguria and Valle d’Aosta); the general vision of the proposed action is to enhance, renovate and create EU value added easy access services dedicated to companies. The EEN services will be embedded in experienced host organisations whose institutional mission is fostering the growth of local economy and supporting it through effective and targeted long term activities. The project focuses on the following main objectives: 1) fostering the competiveness, sustainability and innovative capacity of local business community by internationalisation and innovation support services, with particular attention to the needs of SMEs 2) promoting and stimulate SMEs Internationalisation and innovation capacities. 3) improving SME’s awareness on access to finance 4) contributing to development of a stronger SMEs support system, by integrated EEN in the regional business support system 6) providing ""no wrong door"" services assuring a high level of professionalism, measuring quality, effectiveness and efficiency both towards clients and towards European partners 7) promoting European Policies and Programmes 8) supporting SMEs interested in participating in Horizon 2020 (in particular SME Instrument) 9) raising awareness – in particular among SMEs – on European Union key policy issues (and at the same time on the services offered by the network), with particular focus on Europe2020 Strategy, Cohesion principles 10) providing a structured communication channel among SMEs and the European Union 11) taking active part on the overall network, giving support in the governance, discussing strategies and priorities, promoting the brand and stimulating networking both at European level and at National level 12) participation in the Network professional growth and visibility at EU level 13) improving Host organisations EU networking capacity 14"
