Description

Description

"AXM is a project of three rural settlements far from county seats and urban centers. In the course of the project, delegations of 21-35 people from three different countries and three small settlements with different characteristics meet. COO Alsómocsolád (HU) 300 people, PP1 Xghajra (MT) 2,192 people PP2 Moravske Toplice (SI) 5,964 people A single Work package according to the call contains 3 events. The delegations of the settlements meet first in Malta, then in Slovenia, and finally in Hungary to conclude the project. We conducted a survey among the partners, which helped us determine what the individual settlements expect from such a series of meetings, as well as what opportunities they have to participate in them, prepare the topics of the project, and conduct the meetings. During the negotiations, we agreed that, in addition to the GENERAL INTRODUCTION, each settlement will present their MOST IMPORTANT SETTLEMENT TOPIC and discuss this topic with the guests. The result of the preliminary negotiations is that on the 3 meetings we will discuss the issues related to the FUTURE OF EUROPE that most affect the settlements. Thinking about and implementing the UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS is of particular importance to all of us, so the host presents the most relevant goals for the settlements in connection with the EU Green Deal program in the local context, and leads a discussion on the topic. Our goal is that those, who have already participated in several EU programs (COO, PP2) provide good examples to the ""newcomer"" (PP1) and help them TO PARTICIPATE IN FURTHER EU INITIATIVES and to establish twin city relations. After the 3 meetings, we draw up a REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS, which we send to MEPs and MPs, and we communicate widely."
