Amarillo Hypergrid Data Centre Campus

A plan to build the world's largest data centre hub called Hypergrid, aiming to create an 11GW mega-campus powered by 5GW of gas and 6.5GW of nuclear energy. The campus will be located in Amarillo, Texas, and is designed to support next-generation AI computing capacity with 18 million sq ft of space. The project includes orders for Siemens Energy and GE combined-cycle gas turbines and plans to have 1GW of capacity ready by the end of 2026. Nuclear power will come from four AP1000 Westinghouse reactors and future small modular reactors. The project also includes solar power and battery storage, and will be connected to the US Southern Power Pool grid.
