Description | Amazon Australia has committed to nine new renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPAs) across New South Wales and Victoria, adding 430 MW of new carbon-free energy capacity to the National Electricity Market. The portfolio includes one wind farm, three utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) hybrid projects, four distributed solar-BESS hybrids, and a new battery installation at the Mokoan Solar Farm. This brings Amazon's total investment in Australia to 20 renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of 990 MW once fully operational. |
