This Technical Cooperation (TC) will strengthen the work plan of the Forum of Amazonian Cities, considering the opportunity to highlight urban issues in the Amazon through the United Nations Climate Change Conference, Conference of the Parties (COP30), in Belém, Brazil, in November 2025. The specific objectives of this TC are: (i) to build a common agenda for Amazonian governments for sustainable urban development in the lead-up to COP30, to be highlighted at global, regional, and national levels; (ii) to consolidate the institutional framework of the Forum and complete its incorporation process into the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO), contributing to the improvement of its governance, the recording of its achievements and internal processes, as well as its engagement with members and the external public; and (iii) to enhance the resource mobilization capacities for climate resilience projects of the member cities of the Forum of Amazonian Cities.
