Amazon Kuiper Satellite Internet Services Deployment in Vietnam

planned

Amazon plans to deploy its Kuiper satellite internet services in Vietnam, investing $570 million by 2030 to build infrastructure including up to six ground stations and terminal manufacturing in Bac Ninh province through local partnerships. The initiative aims to deliver broadband internet via low Earth orbit satellites targeting underserved remote and island areas. Amazon has established a local entity in Ho Chi Minh City and submitted an application for low Earth orbit satellite services with a pilot program seeking approval for a five-year rollout to serve consumer, business, and government subscribers.
