AMCA Defence Aviation Project Aircraft Integration and Flight Testing Complex

The project involves the development of a world-class Aircraft Integration and Flight Testing Complex at Puttaparthi in Sri Sathya Sai district, Andhra Pradesh. Developed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) under DRDO, it supports India's indigenous combat aircraft programmes including the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme. The facility will include aircraft assembly, systems integration, flight testing, and related aviation infrastructure such as an extended runway, Air Traffic Control tower, navigation aids, and meteorological support systems. The project also includes development of satellite office complex, residential township, and industrial land banks for aerospace and defence manufacturing.
