Description | Ameren Missouri plans to build its largest solar facility in Callaway County, Missouri, adjacent to its existing nuclear energy facility. The solar facility will cover 1,160 acres and generate 250 megawatts of power, enough to power approximately 44,000 homes. The project aims to increase the production capability and diversity of the electrical grid to meet the demand of large-load users like data centers. Construction is expected to create 300 jobs, with additional long-term jobs after completion. |
