“Amis sans frontières” involves two countries and two towns twinning: Barge (IT) and Annonay (FR) to achieve shared objectives. This project is focused to reinforce and improve in the long term, social and cultural ties between these two towns, to guarantee the links between the two communities (24.956 inhabitants) , reflecting about integration need and mutual comprehension of people, about participation of the citizens to the life of European Community. The specific project objectives are: - strengthen the inclusiveness of the society based on solidarity, respecting the others with the goal to remove bias, to overcome ethnocentrism, to create antidotes against the diversities; - increasing awareness of the richness of a multicultural heritage, enhancing at the same time the identity of a specific membership, even if belonging to minorities; - promoting mutual understanding and friendship to improve cultural ties and participation of the citizens to the life of European Community. “Amis sans frontières” predict the organisation and the participation of the citizens to events in Italian territory and in French territory, using an alternative method of learning and a good dissemination to improve cultural integration and increase spirit of European citizenship. It is mainly aimed at secondary school students (1536 students) and local administration (727 collaborators and several associations), however proposing actions for all citizens: - scholar exchanges, sharing of materials and good practice on e-twinning platform and project blog, throughout the school year; - two cross-border events, one in Italy and one in France, during which there will be sport tournaments, photographic , exchange of mountain experiences and excursions thanks to CAI and CAF, books exchanges and presentations promoted by local libraries, expositions of local goods and innovation tools, conferences, moments of reflection about women’s rights and workshops.
