The bridge, which has been closed to heavy trucks and buses for many years, is being replaced to allow heavy vehicles to use the route again. The project also includes additional road, sewer, and lead line replacement work. The bridge spanned an old railroad corridor known as the Ambrosia Corridor, which no longer has railroad tracks. The ravine under the bridge will be filled with dirt before asphalt is laid. The project started in May 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of July 2025. |
