We believe that awareness in body, mind, and spirit is essential to meet today’s challenges with resilience and creativity.The Amity network is built on two central pillars: mental health and well-being, and environmental sustainability. Across Europe, an increasing number of young people face stress, anxiety, and depression, triggered by crises such as war, economic hardship, fragile democracies and hustle culture. Our aim is to implement preventive measures that equip both youth and their supporters with the tools and competences needed to strengthen mental well-being and inner balance.At the same time, we understand that positive mental health is deeply connected to environmental awareness and action. Our network supports youth in co-creating sustainable, inclusive, and beautiful urban and rural communities, and in rethinking behaviors and lifestyles that support long-term ecological balance. We promote participatory spaces where young people’s ideas, skills, and creativity are valued.Building on this, OM and its partners work to strengthen the EU Youth Dialogue, increasing young people’s confidence in the EU project by addressing democratic deficits, lack of visibility, and limited youth participation in decision-making. We aim to improve existing mechanisms and develop new ones that ensure meaningful youth involvement at all levels. This commitment follows the legacy of the European Year of Youth, with the EUYD as the central platform for youth voice and engagement.
