The project aims to produce a diverse range of steel grades including high-quality, value-added products, and is expected to generate about one lakh jobs. It is part of a larger plan to build a total capacity of 17.8 MT in two phases with a total investment of up to ₹1.47 lakh crore. The first phase has received all clearances and steel manufacturing operations are planned to commence by March 2029. |
