Description | The proposed project comprises of an 8 year subordinated tier II qualifying loan of up to $4.5 million, with a 5 year grace period for principal (the “Loan”) to Bank of Africa Tanzania Limited (“BOA Tanzania” or the “Bank”). The IFC ILoan will be combined with an advisory services program to the Bank under the Africa Micro Small Medium Enterprise Finance Program (“AMSME Finance Program” or the “Program”). The IFC Investment will support the Bank’s efforts to expand its lending activities in the Tanzanian SME sector, and help build its capacity to serve the sector profitably. |
