Anaklia Deep-Sea Port Project

under construction

The Anaklia deep-sea port project in Georgia is being developed under a new state-led landlord port model. The Georgian state will own the core port infrastructure including land, breakwater, access channel, and transport connections, while private international companies will operate individual terminals under long-term agreements. The project aims to enhance Georgia's role in the Middle Corridor trade route by providing deep-water capacity for larger vessels and greater cargo volumes, integrated with national transport infrastructure.
