Analysis of the collected data by Latvia and exchanged micro - data by the EU countries

The general objective of the project is quality improvement of Intra – EU trade data in the framework of the micro - data exchange. The short and medium – term effect of this project is intra – EU trade statistics data quality improvement at the national and Community level. The long – term effect of this project is to pave the way towards possibility to integrate a part of exchanged micro – data for compilation of intra – EU imports in order to reduce the administrative burden of providers of statistical information, but at the same time maintaining data quality. The investigation will be carried out by using collected monthly imports data by CSB of Latvia and received monthly micro - data form Member States. Reference period 2022. Project duration - 16 months. The result of the action will be drafted in the methodological report with a view to be shared with other EU Member States.
