Description | The project involves establishing an inter-State transmission system for evacuation and integration of Anantapur-II Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Phase-I with a capacity of 4.5 GW. Key components include a large pooling station near Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh with multiple transformers and associated infrastructure, and high voltage double circuit lines from Ananthapuram-II to Davangere and Cuddapah with switchable line reactors and a STATCOM installation to improve voltage stability. The project is to be developed on a Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) basis and is scheduled for completion within 24 months from the effective date, targeting commercial operation by 31st March 2027. |
