Andhra Pradesh Tourism Corporation inked deals worth ₹500 crore with Ease My Trip, Hilton Hotels, and others to develop tourism projects across various locations in Andhra Pradesh. The projects include building hotels and setting up facilities for adventure sports such as kayaking and jet skiing at Gandikota, Srisailam, Mantralayam, Tirupati, and other places. The Chief Minister laid the foundation for multiple tourism projects under Central Government schemes like Swadesh Darshan and SASKY. A master plan for Gandikota's development as a prominent tourist destination was announced, including a ₹78 crore tourism development project under the SASKY scheme. The state aims to develop 50,000 hotel rooms across tourist hotspots and promote eco-tourism, adventure, cruise, wellness, caravan, golf, heritage, and temple tourism.
