Description

This project comprises the first phase of the expansion of Anggrek Port in North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. It involves expansion of the pier, the container yard, cargo and other supporting facilities. Once completed, the port will facilitate ships with a size of 30,000 deadweight tonnage (DWT) and handle general cargo with a size of 10,000 DWT. In the first phase, the construction will include the expansion of docks, container yards, cargo terminals, other supporting facilities. The project company is Anggrek Gorontalo International Terminal, sponsored by Gotrans Logistics International, Anugerah Jelajah Indonesia Logistics, Titian Labuan Anugrah and Hutama Karya. In July 2021 a 30-year concession agreement was signed between the project company and the Ministry of Transportation of Indonesia. The total project cost is $93.3 million, which will be financed with debt from BNI Bank and Indonesia Infrastructure Finance. Financial close took place on July 25, 2022.
