Description | Anjadip is the third of eight Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC) indigenously designed and built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata. These vessels are equipped with lightweight torpedoes, indigenously developed anti-submarine rockets, and shallow-water sonar for effective detection and engagement of underwater threats. The project is a Public-Private Partnership between GRSE and L&T Shipyard, Kattupalli, aimed at enhancing the Indian Navy's anti-submarine warfare capability, coastal surveillance, and mine-laying operations. |
