Description
Description | The main objective of the ENJM 2027 project is to host and organize the Annual Joint Meeting of the ENIC and NARIC Networks in 2027. This two-day meeting will enhance the ENIC-NARIC networks by providing a forum for discussion, dialogue, and exchange of experiences. The conference agenda will be planned by the ENIC Bureau/NARIC Adivisory Board in collaboration with the three Secretariats (European Commission, Council of Europe, and UNESCO) and the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills as the host ENIC-NARIC Centre. Key topics such as the Council Recommendation on automatic recognition and the recognition of upper secondary education and training will be addressed in plenary sessions and workshops. The Norwegian ENIC-NARIC centre will ensure that the event facilitates the sharing of relevant information on projects, new developments, and other areas of interest. The objective of the meeting is to support ENICs and NARICs in implementing key EU and EHEA commitments in academic recognition, in line with the 2018 Council Recommendation on promoting automatic mutual recognition of qualifications, the Bologna Process Implementation Report, and the Lisbon Recognition Convention. Recognizing that peer support activities are vital to addressing challenges identified in the Council Recommendation Report, the meeting will serve as a forum to explore new solutions for streamlined recognition processes, aligning with the broader goals of harmonizing practices within the ENIC-NARIC networks. |
