This regional electricity utility had a generating capacity of 5,084-MW. It was partially privatized in 1993. As of December 31st, 2009 the shareholder structure of the company was as follows: 22.29% - OJSC "FSK EES" (or LLC "Depository and Corporate Technologies"); 9.19% - CJSC "ING Bank (Eurasia)" (nominee); 8.43% - CJSC "Depository Clearing Company" (nominee); 12.19% - OJSC "ANK Bashneft"; 12.19% - OJSC "Novoil" ; 12.19% - OSJC "UNPZ"; 13.6% - OJSC "UNKh" and 9.92% - Others. The Russian government exercised control via OJSC "FSK EES" which held 22.29% of the shares. As of December 31st, 2010 the shareholder structure of the company changed as follows: 50.17% - JSFC "Sistema" (which controls OJSC "ANK Bashneft" which in turn is the parent company of CJSC "Bashkirskie ob'edinennye energeticheskie sistemy" - 12.19%; CJSC "Novoil - Energoinvest" -12.19%; CJSC "UNPZ - Energoinvest -12.19% and CJSC "UNKh -Energoinvest" - 13.60%),22.29% - OJSC "FSK EES" (or LLC "Depository and Corporate Technologies"), 8.93% - CJSC "ING Bank (Eurasia)" (nominee), 6.37% - CJSC "Depository Clearing Company" (nominee) and 12.24% -Others. As of December 31st, 2011 the shareholder structure of the company changed as follows: 51.2% - JSC "Sistema" (AFK Sistema Group), 26.6% INTER RAO Group, 13% - Organized Funds, and Others - 9.2%.
