Description	This regional electricity utility has 600-MW of generating capacity. It was privatized in 1993 and 61% of its stock is held by RAO EES Rossii. Magadan Power System operates in the Magadan region, part of the republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and provides centralized electricity consumers in these areas, as well as district heating of cities of Magadan, Anadyr, Pevek and towns of Myaundzha, Ust-Nera, Lake. Magadanenergo consists of four subsidiaries: JSC "Chukotenergo" , OAO "Magadanenergoremont", JSC "Magadanelektrosetremont", JSC "Magadanenergonaladka" and other affiliates. As of Dec 2008, Magadenergo's shareholders were JSC RAO ES - EAST (49%) and others -individuals, legal persons and nominees (51%).
