Description | This regional electricity utility had 2061-MW of generating capacity. It was partially privatized in 1993 and 58% of its stock was held by RAO EES Rossii. OAO AK "Yakutskenergo" was part of JSC "RAO Eastern Energy Systems," established July 1, 2008 as a result of reorganization of RAO" UES of Russia." The state owns 52.7% stake in the company. The Company operates through three electric plants, 163 diesel electric plants and four wholly owned subsidiaries: Sakhaenergo OAO, Yakutskaya energoremontnaya kompaniya OAO, Energotranssnab OAO, as well as Teploenergoservis OAO As of end 2009, Yakutskenergo was owned by Donalink/SUEK (20.6%), others (32%) and RAO Enyergyetichyeskiye Sistyemy Vostoka (47.4%). In turn, RAO Enyergyetichyeskiye Sistyemy Vostoka was owned 52.68% by the Russian government. The shareholders remained the same through 2011. |
