Description

Description

The Apapa Wharf Project for Nigeria will help finance the first six-year phase of the development program; and the early construction, and equipping of four new berths with attendant transit sheds, warehouses, and ancillary works at the Apapa Quay of the Port of Lagos. It will provide additional capacity to cope with present and future traffic at The Apapa Quay. Present facilities at Apapa are inadequate to cope with existing traffic, and completion of this project is essential in order to meet present and future traffic demands. This will eliminate expensive congestion, and delays to ships and cargo. The project will remove existing adverse conditions and make a significant contribution to the economic development of Nigeria.
