Apollo Hospitals Expansion and Equipment Upgrade

planned

Apollo Hospitals is undertaking a capital expenditure program to build 4,300 new beds in two phases across Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Gurugram, and other cities. The project involves significant investment in import-heavy advanced medical equipment such as MRI and CT scanners, robotic surgery systems, and oncology devices. The depreciation of the Indian rupee has increased the capital costs, impacting project budgets and investment plans. Apollo Hospitals is prioritizing critical investments and phasing non-essential upgrades to manage the increased costs.
