Description
Description | Apple has received planning permission to build 285 additional car parking spaces at its European HQ in Hollyhill, Cork, to accommodate 1,300 new employees expected on the campus in 2025. The extension includes two car parks with 159 and 126 spaces respectively, on land owned by Apple to the north of David McCarthy Road. This is in addition to the existing 2,572 parking spaces on-site or under construction. The project aims to provide short to medium-term resilience due to delays in public transport and road network improvements, with a longer-term goal to repurpose spaces to support campus expansion and reduce car commuting. |
