In line with the Creative Europe objectives the Creative Europe Desk in Austria will continue as consulting, information and promotion contact-point for the cultural and creative sectors. Service begins with creating awareness of the European context through facilitation of networking and cooperation opportunities all-over Europe, as well as application-support, consulting and promotion of the comprehensive Programme offer in the fields of funding, training, and networking. The spectrum of events ranges from conferences to matchmaking initiatives. The service was enforced by online-tools like webinars, with the advantage of being able to providing recordings of these sessions. The Desk will implement 40 events. Cross-border cooperation will be continued. Together with the europewide network of Creative Europe Desks, European creatives are brought together to the benefit of cultural diversity, to thrive innovation and competitiveness. In accordance with the European Commisison´s cross cutting priorities, a Greener creative sector, Inclusion, Diversity and Gender Equality is promoted. Two events will be jointly organised by the Culture and the MEDIA Desk. In 2021 the “Literary cinema” project at Vienna Book Fair will connect literature adaptations and the book sector focus. In 2022 a high visibility Creative Europe conference is planned. The Desk has a large network and communicates via website, newsletter recipients MD: 250, CD: 700): and Facebook (633 followers) and publications, promotes results and best practice including the Creative Europe Project Database. A relaunch of the Creative Europe website will be undertaken, the cooperation with the German CED on the online funding guide “Europa fördert Kultur” will be continued.
