The OeAD as the national Euroguidance and Europass Centre as well as the National Coordination Point for the NQF (NCP) will take the following coordinated measures with reference to the priorities of the Call 2021-2023 and the objectives of the European Skills Agenda and the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan (esp. Action 3, 7, 10, 11): Contribution of the European dimension in the field of lifelong guidance as well as competence development of guidance counsellors along the 8 activities in the Call by Euroguidance Austria. Skills and qualifications in Europe become transparent and comprehensible through Europass. Support for the implementation of the Europass Decision is provided at national level along the 5 activities in the Call by Europass Austria. Further development of the EQF at national level through continuous mapping (especially non-formal education) as well as increasing visibility and awareness, linking NQF and Erasmus+ cross-sectoral themes and ensuring data transfer from the NQF register to the European portal. Euroguidance Austria will support the European dimension of lifelong guidance to facilitate mobility within Europe. The development of guidance practitioners' competences are key factors in promoting and supporting efficient career guidance systems and services in Europe. Europass Austria is responsible for the implementation of the new Europass, the key tool to effectively communicate skills and qualifications and proactively guide learners, workers and job seekers to a work or learning opportunity. The NCP for the NQF is responsible for implementing the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning (EQF). The fundamental goals of the NQF in Austria are: (1) to present educational pathways and qualifications in a more comprehensible way, (2) to promote lifelong learning and (3) to make Austrian qualifications compatible with European standards.
