Aqrab Free Cold Water Stations Expansion

The Sharjah Department of Endowments has expanded its community initiative 'Aqrab,' part of the 'Saqiyat Al Maa' (Water Endowment) programme, to include new public locations providing free cold water and beverages during summer months. New distribution points have been established at Kshisha Park and Shaghrafa Park in the Al Rahmaniya area, joining existing locations such as Al Mahatta Park, Muwailih Park, the Wasit Wetland Reserve Walkway, and the Al Qarayen Walkway. The initiative promotes healthy outdoor habits and sustainable giving, with plans for further expansion to more neighborhoods and community parks.
