Description

Description

This project is the construction of a 12 foot trail with 2 foot grass shoulders on either side. It begins at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain south parking lot which is located 500' south of N. Goddard Road. The trail follows Klondike Road until it reaches the Arabia Mountain Nature Center where it crosses the street and ties into an existing trail behind the Nature Center. The trail picks up again near the parking lot to the Nature Center, crosses over Klondike Road and begins on new location winding its way to just north of the McDaniel Mill and Hurst Road intersection for 1.88 miles. The trail follows McDaniel Mill until it intersects with Turner Hill Road. The total length of the trail is 3.57 miles. To provide pedestrian and bicycle safety at the two crossings on Klondike Road, pedestrian signals will be installed at each location as well as all the required signing and marking.
