The $0.7 billion hybrid project integrates solar, wind, and a third-party hydro pumped storage solution to deliver at least 250MW of round-the-clock power, supplying over 20% of the energy needs of AM/NS India's steel plant in Hazira, Gujarat. The project includes 1.5 million solar panels and 91 wind turbines generating 2.5 billion kWh annually, reducing carbon emissions by 1.5 million tonnes per year. |
