Description
Description | The ARCH-ed Horizons project is a collaborative Erasmus+ initiative designed to advance Historical Eurasian Cavalry (HEC) Discipline, combining horseback archery, sabre work, spear techniques, and traditional mounted combat practices. Building on the foundations laid by the ARCH-ed project, this initiative focuses on developing structured training methodologies, educational materials, and fostering transnational cooperation to enhance the competencies of coaches and practitioners across Europe. The project brings together a diverse consortium of organizations, including SAJL (Slovakia), Kawalkada (Poland), Stajnia GROM (Poland), and Gassmann Productions (Ireland), each contributing expertise in horse training, coaching, historical cavalry techniques, and event organization. The key activities include four transnational Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) events, where participants will refine training methodologies, develop new educational materials, and test their effectiveness through hands-on workshops and field trials. The impact of ARCH-ed Horizons extends beyond its immediate participants, aiming to expand the network of skilled trainers, increase awareness of HEC disciplines, and contribute to the broader European equestrian and sports education landscape. Through a well-defined dissemination strategy, including public demonstrations, digital publications, and workshops, the project ensures long-term accessibility of its outcomes. Additionally, the consortium is committed to sustaining the initiative beyond Erasmus+ funding by leveraging partnerships, events, and continuous educational efforts. |
