Argenteuil Hospital Refurbishment Project in Paris

The project involves the refurbishment of Argenteuil Hospital in the northwest suburbs of Paris.Work will be carried out in two phases.The first involves building a 30,000 sq m extension to the east of the existing Madeleine Brès structure. This will be completed in April 2027.The second phase will add 28,000 sq m to the west of the building. This will be completed in July 2030.When remodeled and extended, Argenteuil Hospital will contain an emergency department able to accommodate 100,000 admissions a year, with 500 beds and an upgraded maternity unit. Intensive and critical care departments will be grouped on the same platform, making it easier to receive patients. Outside, dedicated lanes will be made for emergency services, and car parking spaces will be increased to 1,400. The hospital is part of a larger urban redevelopment project, which includes 7,000 sq m of green spaces.
