Description | Baker Hughes will supply three gas compression units to San Matias Pipeline S.A. for a major natural gas pipeline project in Argentina. The project involves installing equipment at a gas compressor station near Allen, Río Negro, to support transportation of natural gas from the Vaca Muerta formation to the Gulf of San Matias through a dedicated pipeline, feeding Southern Energy's two floating LNG vessels. The pipeline spans 293 miles and is designed to transport up to 998 MMscf/d. Work is scheduled to begin in May 2026 and conclude in April 2028. |
