Golar LNG has assigned Axess Group to carry out maintenance, build, and integrity management activities for two floating LNG (FLNG) units, MK II FLNG and Hilli FLNG, which will be deployed at Argentina's LNG project on the Atlantic coast. The units will be chartered to Southern Energy S.A. (SESA) to enable LNG exports from Argentina. The combined capacity of the two units will be about 6 million tonnes per year, with FLNG Hilli Episeyo starting commercial operations in September 2027 and MK II following in late 2028.
