Description | This project consists of construction and operation of a biomass plant with capacity of 30 MW, powered by a combustion system with travelling grate and three-pass boiler that uses poultry litter as the fuel source and conventional steam turbines. It is located in Bolu, Turkiye. Total investment stands at $86.34 million, of which $26.59 million 6-year tenor loan is provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The loan is planned to be used to replace current short-term bridge loans and shareholder loans, injected to fund construction and equipments costs. The project company is Mav Elektrik Uretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., fully sponsored by Gulsan Holding A.S.
