The idea of the “AronAsconA: on water theatre” is strongly linked to the Locarno-Milan waterway. The project aims, through the use of a mixture of traditional cultural offers combined with the use of multimedia technologies and experimentation of professionalizing processes for young workers, to create inter cultural waterways that will overlap actual existing waterways. This will create cross-border cooperation and increase the means of communication. Water will therefore transform itself, from a landscape element and communication mean, to an innovative way to use cultural offer and to develop professional skills and employability of the younger population. The artistic head, Dacia Maraini, guarantees the quality of the cultural offer. The project is divided in 5 main activities: 1. On water theatre; 2. CHITA young professions; 3. CHITA multimedia; 4. CHITA young artists; 5. CHITA production.
