Description
Description | BlackSky plans to expand its current high frequency monitoring constellation with multispectral, large-area collection satellites called AROS. These satellites are designed to support country scale digital mapping, navigation, maritime, and 3D digital twin applications at unmatched speed and scale. AROS will augment the Gen-3 constellation to provide dynamic broad area search, change monitoring, and predictable refresh of large area and 3D mapping datasets. The constellation is optimized for AI-driven geospatial and digital twin applications and aims to fill the gap left by aging legacy satellites with increased capabilities and cost efficiency. |
