Description
Description | The ARTeCHÓ - Art, Economy & Technology - Unleashing the potential of Crypto Art and other tech tools for European creative industry, regions and society has a three-fold ambition: 1) creating awareness on emerging trends and potential of Crypto Art (blockchain) and other tech tools as a modern method of monetisation of fine art and copyright protection, 2) supporting capacity building and talent development on the theme leading to transformed economy of art and/or new entrepreneurial ventures and business models, and 3) connecting the dots by gathering a community of practitioners, policymakers and academics/researchers to further debate possible avenues for embedding monetisation alternatives and blockchain in regional programmes supporting arts, artists and their ethical rights. The main goal is to create a peer learning community that will allow artists to learn more about the technical side of the art creating process and its intersection with new technologies, Crypto Art, blockchain and NFT marketplaces. This project will combine artistic talent with a vision of modern technology and bring together experts and recognised Crypto artists that will share their knowledge with emerging artists giving them the tools needed to scale up their art / business. ARTeCH will provide resources to help artists and organizations to explore the innovative approaches of Economics of the arts, to encourage copyright protection of fine art versus new technologies application, and to shape new business models, wider communication strategies, political engagement and citizen awareness. The final outcome is to create a learning community of shared knowledge that will bring together the fellow artists community directly supported by the project together with the enlarged ecosystem’s actors, industry, SMEs&startups, policy makers, academia and civil society to navigate the future of Arts, Economy and Technology. |
