Description

Description

The ARTEFORA 2025 programme of the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (IYMF) focuses on fostering inclusion, equity, and quality in education through the transformative power of the arts. Central to this mission is the flagship MUS-E® Programme, which integrates artistic practice into schools and beyond to promote social inclusion, enhance well-being, and build intercultural competencies for a more cohesive society. The ARTEFORA 2025 work plan addresses quality, equity, and inclusion in education and society, in line with the European Education Area’s objectives. Key actions include developing the MUS-E® Programme to new territories, such as France and Greece, and strengthening the network’s capacity to tackle educational disparities and foster cooperation. Activities will include capacity-building activities, such as an international training for artists and teachers, an online international choir, artistic sessions for vulnerable youngsters, creating and disseminating innovative tools to improve well-being and intercultural understanding in and outside the classrooms. Advocacy is a central pillar of ARTEFORA 2025, fostering exchange with policymakers, artists trainers, teachers and other stakeholders. Through local and international advocacy events and targeted policy actions, IYMF will underscore the role of arts in education and society and highlight the need for systemic reforms. Deliverables such as reports on best practices and recommendations will serve as key resources for disseminating knowledge and driving policy change. By leveraging strong partnerships and collaborations with other networks and institutions, ARTEFORA 2025 amplifies IYMF’s impact, fostering cooperation among stakeholders. Through capacity-building, advocacy actions, and resource-sharing, ARTEFORA 2025 will contribute to the European Education Area and nourish education policy reforms and actions, ensuring that creativity and the arts’ powers play a key role.
