ARTE has been conceived to increase young people participation in EU social, cultural and economic life through artistic expression,bringing together people living in EU countries and in Albania and Montenegro which are still in their EU accession process.This will be achieved through the implementation of the following ACTIVITIES: ON-LINE TRAINING that will involve young participants from all partner countries together to learn about history/process of Europe Union establishment and enlargement, main Acts and milestones, presentation of best practices of fruitful cooperation between people and bodies in EU countries and acceding countries. LOCAL WORKSHOPS that will be organized in each partner country and involve groups of young people to artistically express their vision of Europe, their expectations deriving from being (or becoming) a European citizen in terms of personal growth, social relations, career, etc. They will be asked to reflect on their sense of belonging to the EU, their willingness to actively take part in its social, economic and cultural life, to freely travel for pleasure, study, volunteering or working, to contribute to EU sustainable and fair development and growth. Artistic expressions will rely on different languages, based on individual inclinations, gifts, capacities (singing, paintings, drawing, dancing, playing instruments, etc.). The artistic products that will be created will be displayed/shown/represented during the international events. 3 INTERNATIONAL EVENTS: 1 in Italy, 1 in Portugal and 1 in Albania. During these events seminars and debates will be organized to allow local citizens and international guests and experts to know more in details EU history and achievements and express their opinions about the EU functioning and policies, understand the benefits of being part of the EU and reinforce its social and political cohesion.
