Description

Description

The work programme of the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (IYMF) Artefora 2026 – 2027 promotes an inclusive and high-quality education and trainings, through the transformative power of the arts and the involvement of artists at schools and in fragilised settings. By coordinating the international MUS-E® Network and piloting innovative models such as the INSIDE project, IYMF fosters the participation and development of children and young people at risk of exclusion, by practicing the arts in both school and non-formal settings. Through its work, IYMF bridges EU priorities and local needs, generating transnational impact and building transferable methodologies aligned with the EU values of equity, inclusion, and diversity. IYMF delivers capacity-building opportunities for artists and teachers, enhancing their art-based educational practices and strengthen competences in areas such as wellbeing, social inclusion, sustainability and digital, to better address today’s societal challenges. IYMF contributes to development and implementation of EU policy by promoting cross-sector cooperation and collaboration among different stakeholders (schools, NGOs, artists, public authorities, policymakers,…) from the fields of education, cultural, and social inclusion. IYMF acts as a platform for exchange, mutual learning, and co-creation, advancing the role of the arts in society. Drawing from field-base experience, IYMF collects and shares evidence through reports, factsheets, recommendations, and guidelines to support policy implementation and innovation in education and training.
