Description
Description | "ARTEMIS is a project in line with the call's Objective 2 ""Innovation"" aiming to address adolescent mental health through innovative, art-based interventions. It targets youth aged 13–18 with mental health conditions. ARTEMIS blends artistic creation with therapeutic principles to foster emotional expression, resilience, and social inclusion. The consortium spans six EU countries - Italy, Spain, Greece, Belgium, Denmark and Croatia - and includes NGOs, artists, therapists, municipalities, and academic experts. The project will deliver five types of participatory workshops: cinema, photography, storytelling, theatre, and street art - each co-designed with youth. A total of 15 workshops (5 per pilot country - Italy, Spain, and Greece) will be conducted, reaching at least 60 adolescents, and the final outputs created will be displayed locally and within an international showcase. Key Objectives: • Train 30+ cultural and mental health professionals in inclusive, trauma-informed methods. • Co-create public youth artworks and run local exhibitions, performances, and a final EU-wide showcase in Rome. • Develop and disseminate a multilingual ARTEMIS Toolkit, pilots and impact report. • Foster long-term change through capacity building, institutional engagement, and cross-border collaboration. Work Plan: • WP1 (M1–M24): Project management and coordination • WP2 (M1–M16): Knowledge exchange and preparation. • WP3 (M12–M24): Implementation of workshops and impact evaluation. • WP4 (M2–M24): Communication and dissemination. Key Deliverables: • Best Practices Review and ARTEMIS Model • ARTEMIS Toolkit & Policy Brief • Training Materials • Pilot Implementation and Impact Evaluation Reports • Project Website and Dissemination Report ARTEMIS aligns with EU priorities: digital transition (via youth-led storytelling), sustainability, inclusion, and cultural cooperation—aiming to scale a replicable model of culturally rooted mental health support across EU." |
