Artemis Drone Testing Project

The Artemis project by the Defense Innovation Unit aims to identify and buy low-cost commercial unmanned aerial systems (UAS) capable of long-range flight, striking enemy targets, and operating under electronic warfare conditions such as signal jamming and spoofing. The project involved testing drones from four companies, including AV (formerly AeroVironment) and Dragoon, at a test event near Fort Wainright, Alaska, to evaluate their performance in target acquisition and strike accuracy under jamming conditions.
